Common Enquiries
To ensure fair and uninterrupted consultations, doctors do not take phone calls directly while consulting.
- Support: Where appropriate, practice staff may respond on the doctor’s behalf.
- Messages: Our administration and nursing staff can assist where possible or take a message to pass on to your doctor.
- Doctor call-backs: Doctors do not routinely phone patients unless a telephone consultation is booked or in exceptional circumstances.
We operate a computer-based medical record system. Should any of your personal details change, please ask to have your records amended on arrival. Please make sure that your Medicare card and any Health Care or Pension Concession Cards are valid and up to date
If you wish to have your previous health record transferred to Goyder’s Line Medical, please speak with our receptionists. You will be required to sign a simple form to send to your previous clinic. Usually clinics send through a health summary, at which point your GP may request a more detailed record. This may incur a fee.
To send your records to a new clinic from Goyder’s Line Medical, please speak with our receptionists. You will be required to sign a release form from your new practice. A health summary will be provided at no cost; however, if you require a more detailed record, this may incur a fee.
Please make sure that your Medicare card and any Health Care or Pension Concession Cards are valid and up to date.
