Heavy Vehicle Licence for patients under 70 years of age will be charged a private fee inline with item 36, to be paid in full on the day.

The Goyder’s Line Medical – Jamestown, Peterborough and Orroroo bulk bill Aged Pensioners (over 65) and Department of Veteran Affair patients. For all other patients, fees are charged according to the time taken and the complexity of the problem. There is a table of some of the basic fees displayed at the front desk. Please feel free to ask reception staff about relevant fees. Full payment is required on the day of consult by cash, cheque, credit card or EFTPOS. We can then transfer the rebate directly into your account by using your Medicare Card number and a Debit Card. Alternatively you may choose to receive you rebate via direct deposit into your account if you have submitted your bank details to Medicare. We do not bulk-bill Pension Card Holders under the age of 65 or Non-pension card holders except in extreme circumstances. If difficulty in making payments is experienced, please contact reception staff who will be happy to discuss suitable arrangements..

Please be aware that Medicare does not cover all consultations i.e. Work Medicals etc, this will need to be paid for by yourself or your employer and no part can be claimed through Medicare. If you are a WorkCover patient please ensure to have all relevant details with you when you come to the surgery including you claim number.

If you are an overseas visitor you will need to pay the full amount on the day and claim back through your Health Insurance Company.

OUTPATIENTS
Outpatients treated by a doctor in the Outpatients Department may be treated as Private Patients and therefore may be charged a fee.
