Dr Henry Lam is a returning new Rural Generalist Registrar who graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2021. He is a product of the Adelaide University Rural Clinical School and Road to Rural (R2R) Internship program previously working as a first year trainee doctor at GLM in 2022 for 10 weeks. He is of Vietnamese background and is passionate about being a country doctor with intentions to become a “Jack of all trades” and has experience working across many different rural towns in SA (Port Lincoln, Whyalla, Port Augusta,RFDS, Quorn and Jamestown) both as a medical student and junior doctor.
Outside of work he enjoys a wide range of sports and outdoor activities. He enjoys playing tennis and football and is a loyal crows supporter. In winter he enjoys camping and hiking in the Flinder’s Ranges. He also enjoys the occasional winery lunch where he likes to catchup with his friends from Adelaide.
